Plan and material design of a hallway and staircase
Vogelwijk – The Hague

Located in a characteristic 1930’s neighborhood, we opted for a hallway and staircase in a complementary style. The tiles on the wall provide texture and make this hallway playful and warm. The tiles are handmade and each differ in shape. We designed the floor in a calacatta marble style surrounded by a black trim.
The lighting use is classic, as is the stair runner.

In the bathroom we used a mix of 3 different colored tiles in a diamond shape. These tiles are also handmade and the glossy glazed finish makes them look warm yet modern.

The design compliments the 1930’s style of the house with a modern twist.
